Materials and Sizes
What are your drawer boxes made of?
A/B-grade edge-glued 5/8″ solid birch with no finger joints, UV finish and based top edge.
Do you build custom sizes?
Yes. You can order Standard Height drawers by choosing one of our available standard heights and entering the width and depth you need, or Custom Height drawers by entering the exact dimensions your project requires.
What sizes of birch do you keep in stock?
We stock solid birch drawer material from 2″ through 24″ in height and up to 48″ long. Keeping that range on hand is what lets us build standard and custom heights without ordering material for every project.
Can I supply my own material?
Yes, as long as it is suitable for our manufacturing process. We can also order specialty material for you.
What drawer bottoms do you offer?
1/4″ or 1/2″ drawer bottoms.
Options and specialty products
Do you offer notch and bore for undermount slides?
Yes. Notch and bore preparation for undermount drawer slides is available as an option on your order.
Do you make U-shaped drawers for vanities?
Yes. We build solid birch U-shaped drawers for vanity and plumbing applications.
Do you make waste-container drawers?
Yes, including double-bin waste-container configurations. We also offer silverware inserts and organizers.
Can you engrave a logo on the drawers?
Yes. Logo and custom engraving are available, as are custom scoop designs and other specialty drawer configurations.
Lead times and rush orders
What is your lead time?
For orders manufactured from our stocked birch material, typical production lead time is 5 business days. Orders in specialty wood species generally take longer and are scheduled according to material availability and project requirements.
Do you take rush orders?
We work with customers on rush orders whenever possible. Call us directly with your specifications and your deadline, and we will review material availability and our current production schedule. If we can make it happen, we will.
Packaging, delivery and shipping
Can you package and label orders by job site?
Yes. Orders can be organized and labeled by customer name, project, job site, room or area, cabinet or opening, or any other identification you supply.
Can each drawer be packaged separately?
Yes, on request. Every individual drawer can be packaged and labeled on its own, so the right drawer goes to the right opening without anyone sorting through the complete order.
Do you deliver, and do you ship outside Florida?
Depending on the order and destination, we offer local pickup, local delivery, delivery throughout Florida, and shipping outside Florida. You do not need to be near St. Petersburg to work with us.
Ordering
How do I order?
Create your FL Drawers online account, choose your product, enter your dimensions and quantities, select your options, review the specifications and submit. Your order comes directly to our production floor. The ordering system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
How do I get pricing?
Pricing for your configuration is shown in your FL Drawers account as you build the order, so you can review it before you submit. For a project you would rather talk through, contact us and we will put together a quote for you.
Where are you located?
Our production facility is at 3244 44th Ave N, St. Petersburg, Florida 33714. Drawers are manufactured here in Florida.
When can I reach you?
Our St. Petersburg production facility is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and the online ordering system runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
